Scotland’s first expedition to ‘The South Pole’ has been successfully completed three days ahead of schedule, it was revealed yesterday, 2004-12-29.
Craig Mathieson, 35, an accountant, reached ‘The South Pole’ late on Tuesday night, 2004-12-28 after a 1 175 km hike across Antarctica, according to organisers of the Scot 100 expedition.
